TickIt respects your privacy. This page explains what data is (and isn’t) collected, how it’s used, and your rights as a user.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Email Addresses: We collect the email addresses you provide when creating an account or contacting us for support.
- Items you add to your grocery lists are not stored locally on your device and are uploaded to our servers. These can be deleted by either deleting the list, or deleting your account - whereby all your data is deleted for both device and server.
- If you use features that involve AI-powered sorting or suggestions, your list data may be sent to the AI service provider for processing. No personal identifiers are attached.
Automatically Collected Information
- Usage Information: We may collect anonymized data about how you interact with the app, such as which features you use and how often.
- Device Information: We may collect basic device information (e.g., device type), but not operating system version or unique device identifiers.
- All collected data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.
Crash Reports
- If the app crashes, anonymized crash information may be collected through Apple’s system to help diagnose and fix issues.
How Your Information Is Used
- To provide and improve the core functionality of TickIt, including AI-powered sorting and suggestions.
- To enhance reliability, performance, and future features.
- To understand general usage trends.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or third parties.
Data Retention
We retain your information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Third-Party Services
TickIt may use the following third-party services:
- Apple App Store (for distribution, in-app purchases, and analytics)
- RevenueCat (for payment systems)
- Google’s Firebase (for back-end & analytics)
- OpenAI’s API (for AI-powered sorting and suggestions)
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy.
Your Rights
- You can delete the app at any time, which removes all data from your device; however, anonymized usage data may still be stored on our servers.

TickIt is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
